Jake Hill delivered standout performances at Knockhill during the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), propelling their team, WSR, to within three points of the Drivers’ Championship lead!
All eyes are on Jake Hill as the season enters its final events at
- Donington Park, 24th-25th August
- Silverstone 21st-22nd September
- Brands Hatch 5th-6th October
Hill’s impressive Knockhill race two victory and two fifth-place finishes have brought him tantalizingly close to the top of the Drivers’ Championship, taking the gap down from 21 to now just three points off the lead.
BMW also made substantial gains in the Manufacturers’ Championship, moving closer to securing a record tenth title.
Adam Morgan contributed significantly with his first podium of the season in Race One, helping Team BMW clinch the award for the highest-scoring team of the weekend.
Hill definitely left his mark at Knockhill driving his BMW 330e M Sport: “I’m leaving Knockhill with a winners’ hat so I’m extremely happy with how today’s gone. We’ve had two fifth-place finishes and a win, which is mega.
With just nine races remaining, the 2024 BTCC season is set for an intense finale.
The next three races will take place at Donington Park in the East Midlands on August 24-25.
As the competition heats up, all eyes are on Hill, and the WSR team, pushing for championship glory.
