The UK’s premier motorsport series, the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship, gears up for the first race weekend of the 2023 campaign at Donington Park this weekend (22/23 April).
ABGO, one of the UK’s leading heating products and spares specialists, is excited to have extended their partnership with the Laser Tools MB Motorsport’s young star Jake Hill.
A three-time race winner in 2022, and winner of the Goodyear ‘Wingfoot’ award for the fastest qualifier, Hill will once again display the distinctive ABGO ‘flame’ logo on his crash helmet in 2023.
Already a Winner in 2023, having taken his Ford Capri to a thrilling victory at the 80th Goodwood Members Meeting in the Gordon Spice Trophy just last weekend, Hill is looking forward to the BTCC action resuming.
ABGO have supported Hill since 2018 and will continue inviting guests to events alongside a program of PR and Marketing around the championship during the year.
“We had a brilliant year in 2022 both on and off track”, said Hill, “So it’s fantastic to once again be representing ABGO and welcoming their guests along to enjoy the action.”
ABGO General Manager Sean Fleming discussed the partnership with Hill and Laser Tools MB Motorsport for 2023.
“It’s been a superb partnership working with Jake over the years, and our staff and customers have all enjoyed being part of the action at BTCC events around the UK. Jake has just got better and better on track over the years, and it’s been exciting to be part of his journey to the top.”
“Jake driving with West Surrey Racing in the BMW 330e M-Sport is all about quality, performance and delivering results, and that’s something we at ABGO can identify with.”
ABGO look forward to engaging BTCC fans with competitions and prizes, including chances to join the action during the season.
Action begins at 09:30 on Saturday with Live coverage of the qualifying session available to stream at itv.com/btcc.
